Kate Forbes, the president of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, or the IFRC, said China has more potential to step up support for global humanitarian aid with a much bigger presence around the world, in a one-on-one conversation with CGTN host Tian Wei. Her visit to Beijing is a special experience for her as a 45-year humanitarian aid volunteer, Forbes added.
